Welcome all new and returning BTC Members! We can start preparing the club for a great 2024 Tennis Season.
On April 20th starting from 9:00am (rain date April 21st), we need your help with opening the club and putting up nets so we can all start hitting some balls around. We’ll be doing the following:
- cleaning the courts from the winter
- putting up the nets
- cleaning the club house
- putting out the chairs, benches, garbage cans
As we’ve mentioned before, the Barrhaven Tennis Club is strictly run by volunteers – so we need your help in getting the club in “playable” shape. We would love it if you could drop by for a couple of hours. This also gives you a chance to meet the wonderful BTC Executives, who work tirelessly throughout the season.
Don’t forget – we welcome high school students who are looking to fill their volunteer hours as well.
We hope you are able to help us out. Don’t forget to bring extra twist tie cutters, rakes, and large brooms. Remember, the quicker we can get the club ready, the quicker we can all start enjoying this great weather and start playing tennis !!
